The rooftops

Part 1 of 2. Reach Annihilus.

  1. BothChallenge: toss five enemies into pits; the pit edges are small and only in the early areas.

Boss: Annihilus

Part 2 of 2. Beat Annihilus.

  1. BothHe has shield layers over his health; be patient and wear them down.
  2. BothAfter his straight-line beam ends, move in and attack.
  3. BothHit him hard while he charges his energy ball; that is when he is most open.
  4. BothLater he rains meteors with red warning marks; stay off the marks.
  5. Player 1Challenge: finish him as Nova.

Boss

AnnihilusThe final boss

  1. Rush: Rushes back and forth across the rooftop.
  2. Beam: Fires a beam in a straight line.
  3. Energy ball: Charges an energy ball, leaving himself open.
  4. Meteors: Calls down meteors on marked spots.
  • CBR: against the rush, stay by the wall and watch his shadow.
  • TheGameSlayer: block the rush while facing him to stun him; blocking fails if he hits you from behind.

Extras and notes

  • Each player brings two heroes into a mission and can swap between them at any time; a duo special or a call-in from the partner hero helps when things go wrong.
  • There is no difficulty setting for the campaign; the fights adjust to how many people are playing, and anyone can drop in or out.
