What each player can do here

P1 · Player 1
  • Each player picks a fighting style: close-up melee, ranged attacks from the back, or heavy armour to soak hits.
P2 · Players 2–4
  • A second player on the same machine joins with their own controller and shares the one screen; up to four can play locally or online. Wander too far from the leader and the game teleports you back.
  • In co-op a downed teammate can be revived by standing near them, and the team only loses a life when everyone is down.

The mission

Part 1 of 1. Reach the village and set up camp.

  1. BothFollow the marker to the village and clear the zombies; the first one teaches you the sword.
  2. BothPick up the arrows lying on the bridge; a skeleton on the watchtower across the gap has to be shot down before the drawbridge lowers.
  3. BothAt the gate inside the village, fight off the ambush.
  4. BothHead to the marker and set up camp to end the mission.
