World 3 of 3
Snipperclips: Silly Science walkthrough
The last world of the base game: sludge, amoebas, screws and gears, a cactus, UFOs and the final two-part star stage.
- 15 parts · 44 steps
Steps from 8 text guides, 16 videos to watch · checked Oct 20, 2026
What each player can do here
- Snip and Clip have the same moves: walk, jump, duck, stand on tiptoe, turn all the way round, and snip off whatever part of the partner you overlap.
- Before you press A the game draws the outline of the cut; hold Y to grow back to your full shape.
- Playing alone, X swaps between the two characters.
If your skill levels differ: The tutorial and the level names are the only hints the game gives, and GameSkinny's advice when stuck is to back out and read the name again. Our suggestionWhen skill levels differ: let the newer player do the snipping while the other holds still as the shape being cut. How to split the roles
Shape Match 5
Part 1 of 15. Fill a torpedo-shaped outline; the round nose takes many small cuts.
- SnipTake the left half of the outline and stand behind it, head upright with the round end up; your partner, head sideways with the round end right, cuts off what the outline marks.single source
- BothThe cutter ducks and the other uses its top edge to cut near the base, which leaves a rough torpedo.single source
- BothStand the torpedo over the outline and cut much of its left half away until it is round, move it into the left half, and cut the groove on its left side.single source
- BothFor the right half the round player trims the other, whose head is sideways with the round end right; then both stand in place.single source
Sludge Bucket
Part 2 of 15. Steer leaking sludge into the holding tank left of the pit.
- BothCut both players into thin skate-blade shapes.single source
- SnipLie across the pit from the tank's lip to the bottom of the slope so the sludge piles up against you.single source
- ClipShovel the piled sludge up into the tank.single source
Sludge Dodge
Part 3 of 15. Keep sludge away from two amoebas, one low and one higher up, so they can cross.
- BothMake two bowls: cut one player into a J, let the J scoop a bowl out of the other, then grow the J back and cut a bowl into it too.single source
- BothDuck either side of the centre island with your bowls turned sideways; when they fill, the pour pauses and the upper amoeba gets past.single source
- BothFor the lower amoeba, stand under the spout on tiptoe with the bowl rims facing each other to catch the sludge higher up.single source
Where people tend to fall
- Amoebas turn back the moment they touch sludge.
Plucky Flower
Part 4 of 15. Pull the round flower up out of its vase.
- BothCut both players down to small wedges.single source
- BothOne jumps into the vase and digs at the bulb; the other climbs on top and digs as well until the flower is high enough.single source
Make the Cut 5
Part 5 of 15. Cut a large circle and the bars either side of it out of the sheet.
- BothWith both heads sideways, round side right, one cuts a half-circle off the other; swap so the square side comes off too, leaving a circle.single source
- SnipUse the round player to cut the circle out of the paper.single source
- ClipTrim the other player to a small rectangular wedge and cut the flat bars on both sides.single source
Where people tend to fall
- Shape each other away from the purple sheet or you cut it by accident; the pencil eraser resets it.
Gene Machine
Part 6 of 15. Drop two beakers and slide them into the cell pattern on the right, the right colour facing right.
- BothPress the high eraser to drop a beaker; tip the first one over so its pink end points right and push it in.single source
- BothThe second needs its blue end facing right, and the right-hand platform has to rise: cut one player rough-edged so it can turn the pink hexagon screw on the left.single source
- SnipStay at the screw and turn it slowly: step away and it unwinds, crank too fast and the beaker flips.single source
- ClipWait by the fallen beaker on the right and push it into place once the platform is up.single source
Twist and Spout
Part 7 of 15. Turn two screws so the cylinder first holds the liquid and then lets it down.
- BothCut one player into a T, then use it to cut the other into the shape of a wrench head.single source
- BothTurn the blue screw to run a screw across the bottom of the cylinder, and the pink one to pull the other screw back so the liquid can drop.single source
Perfect Circles
Part 8 of 15. Push coloured bars into place to line up the satellite orbits.
- SnipDuck and have most of your top half cut off, plus a little of the lower-left corner, so you can push the left bars evenly.single source
- SnipPush the orange, pink and red bars on the left until three lights show.single source
- ClipLet the shaped player cut your right side, then do the same with the bars on the right.single source
- BothWhen both sides show three lights, push your levers at the same moment.single source
Star stage: Bedtime for Blobby
Part 9 of 15. Three rounds of keeping sludge off amoebas for a few seconds.
- BothRound 1: push through the sludge so it flows off; the amoeba settles before it comes back.single source
- BothRound 2: stand left of the sludge, cut both players into upside-down L shapes, stack and duck so there is no gap, then the lower one walks right while the top one stays put, dragging sludge away from the field on the left.single source
- BothRound 3: do the same again for the last four amoebas.single source
Action Cactus
Part 10 of 15. Pull a cactus up to the arrow at the top of the screen.
- BothCut one player about in half with saw teeth along its side, then let it cut the same teeth into the other.single source
- BothStand either side of the cactus and spin together to keep it rising.
UFO No
Part 11 of 15. Keep the UFOs off the satellite while it rises.
- BothThe satellite climbs by itself; your only job is the UFOs.single source
- BothCut into upside-down L shapes that work as containers, catch two UFOs with one player and the third with the other, and hold them against the side walls.
Shape Match 6
Part 12 of 15. Fill a tree-shaped outline.
- BothBoth turn your heads sideways, round side left; one stands on tiptoe to fit the top of the tree while the extra is cut away.single source
- BothThe other turns upright, round side up, and ducks so the first can cut its excess; then turn and place both.single source
Sludge Slope
Part 13 of 15. Get the sludge into the container at the lower right.
- BothCut one player into a skate-blade shape and the other into a low doorstop wedge.single source
- SnipOn the left, climb on your partner so you can jump to the high ledge, then stand by the copper lip so the sludge flows over you and down.single source
- ClipLie at the lower right as a ramp, so the falling sludge launches to the right and into the container.single source
Make the Cut 6
Part 14 of 15. Cut the border off a tree shape and three round holes inside it.
- BothMake one player round; standing on the other to reach high spots, it makes the precise cuts, the three circles included.single source
- BothStand the other upright with about half cut off each side, and trace the tree's outer edge with it.single source
Where people tend to fall
- Trim each other to the right of the sheet, not in front of it, and mind the eraser on the left: it resets the pattern.
Star stage: Bedtime for Blobby 2
Part 15 of 15. The final stage: three rounds of sheltering amoebas from the sludge in the tubes.
- BothThe eraser below the tubes raises the centre platform and, pressed again near the top, lowers it; each round needs a different height.single source
- BothRound 1: raise the platform a little, cut both players into upside-down Ls, stack, and turn the sludge aside for a second or two.single source
- BothRound 2, four amoebas: raise it near the top; if sludge builds up on the side of a sheltering player, stand up or duck to shed it and try again.single source
- BothRound 3, six amoebas: platform all the way up. You cannot cover them all, so catch enough sludge near the exact centre that the pipes stop flowing.single source
- BothA short last puzzle follows, then the credits.
Extras and notes
- Each world starts with eight available stages and a locked star stage. Five clears open the first star stage; beating it adds five more stages and a second star stage, which opens once ten stages are done.one guide
