What each player can do here

P1 · Player 1
  • Everyone plays the same courses at once. Anyone can float into a bubble to sit out a tricky bit, and players can lift and toss one another.
P2 · Player 2
  • Up to four people play 3D World together; lives are shared across the group.

If your skill levels differ: A newer player can float into a bubble at any time to skip a jump that looks too hard. How to split the roles

Unlocking them

Part 1 of 3. Open the bonus worlds.

  1. BothWorld Mushroom opens after you clear Cosmic Cannon Cluster in World Star.
  2. BothWorld Crown opens only once every Green Star, stamp and golden flag in the earlier courses is collected.

Boss Blitz

Part 2 of 3. Clear the boss rush in World Flower.

  1. BothBoss Blitz in World Flower puts earlier bosses back to back; you pick the order through the warp boxes, then face Motley Bossblob last.

Champion's Road

Part 3 of 3. Clear the hardest course.

  1. BothChampion's Road in World Crown is the hardest course in the game: long, with no checkpoints and no power-ups.
