What each player can do here

P1 · Bread
  • On a shared keyboard Bread anchors with S and grabs a wall by holding E; while anchored, Bread cannot be dragged around by Fred's moves.
P2 · Fred
  • Fred has the same moves on the second set of keys: arrow Down to anchor, right Ctrl held to grab a wall.

If your skill levels differ: If the climb gets too punishing, the assist options (Pull rope, Checkpoints, Better grab, Infinite jumps) are there to use; the developer says there is no shame in it.Our suggestionThe player steadier with timing takes the swings and jumps while the other anchors. How to split the roles

To the summit

Part 1 of 2. Reach the top of the 500 m mountain.

  1. BothThe summit is at 500 m, and the on-screen altitude meter tracks your height on the way. Reaching it completes the climb (We Did It!).

Where people tend to fall

  • The final section throws the moving platforms and the wind at you together: anchor through the gusts and time platform jumps as before.

Mission: Jeff and Greg

Part 2 of 2. Return the rock at the top to the old man at the bottom.

  1. BothAt the top you find Jeff, the rock; carry Jeff all the way back down and leave him next to the old man, Greg, in New Beakville to finish The Peak mission (Reunion).

Extras and notes

  • Falling more than 100 m in one drop earns OUCH!; the NealS guide points to the end of the climb as the place to do it, and the checkpoint flag gets you back up.
  • Photo 12, the last one, is at the summit with Jeff.
  • Single-player only: Greg's Bowl skin is in The Last Breath.
