What each player can do here

P1 · Luigi
  • Luigi holds the Poltergust G-00 and the flashlight: stun ghosts with the Strobulb, then vacuum and slam them. The run only ends if Luigi runs out of health.
P2 · Gooigi
  • Gooigi walks over spikes and slips through bars and tight spaces that stop Luigi. Water and fire empty his health at once and send him back to Luigi.
  • Gooigi is the bait in this boss fight.

If your skill levels differ: Losing health is never game over for Gooigi; the run only ends when Luigi runs out. So the newer player usually takes Gooigi and the steadier player takes Luigi. How to split the roles

The skeleton

Part 1 of 1. Open the main exhibit and beat the skeleton and the caveman inside it.

  1. BothOpen the curtained doorway to the main exhibit by pulling with Luigi and Gooigi together, one on each rope.
  2. BothShoot one dropped egg into the skeleton's mouth and, while it chews, shoot the other egg at its ribs.
  3. BothWith one egg left, walk Gooigi up to the skeleton so it bites him; while its jaws are stuck, Luigi fires the egg at its chest.
  4. BothWhen it breaks loose, shoot bones at its chest until it falls apart; the caveman ghost inside then swings the bone as a club. Burst over his shock wave, flash him while the club is stuck in the floor, and vacuum him.

Boss

UgThe dinosaur skeleton

  1. The skeleton: Eggs into the mouth and ribs, then Gooigi as bait for the second hit, then bones at the chest.
  2. The caveman: Jump the club's shock wave, flash him while he is stuck, vacuum. You get the Boilerworks button.

Achievements and extras

  • Six gems are hidden on this floor, and a Boo turns up here once you have the floor's elevator button and come back later.
