What each player can do here

P1 · Player 1
  • Each player picks a fighting style: close-up melee, ranged attacks from the back, or heavy armour to soak hits.
P2 · Players 2–4
  • A second player on the same machine joins with their own controller and shares the one screen; up to four can play locally or online. Wander too far from the leader and the game teleports you back.
  • In co-op a downed teammate can be revived by standing near them, and the team only loses a life when everyone is down.

The mission

Part 1 of 1. Power the beacons and carry the keys to the temple.

  1. BothCacti Canyon opens after Creeper Woods.single source
  2. BothPower the first beacon to raise the bridge, then power the five beacons nearby to cross on; the mini map shows them.
  3. BothSurvive the Arch-Illager's ambush.
  4. BothCarry the blue key golem to the blue gate, then take the gold key golem to the gold gate.
  5. BothGetting hit makes you drop a key golem and it runs back, so clear the mobs before carrying it.
  6. BothSurvive one more ambush and enter the temple.

Where people tend to fall

  • Some enemies summon pillars that explode after a while; walk around them.
