What each player can do here

P1 · Chef 1
  • Same moves as Chef 2: chop, cook, plate, serve, wash plates at the sink, throw raw ingredients and dash.
P2 · Chef 2
  • Serving orders in the order they arrive builds the tip multiplier, which is where three-star scores come from.
  • Star targets change with the number of chefs; the numbers on this page are the two-chef ones.
  • World 1 adds dish washing from 1-3 on.

If your skill levels differ: Team17 says newcomers can finish every kitchen and that later kitchens split the chefs up, so food has to be thrown across. Our suggestion when skill levels differ: finish the kitchen first, chase three stars after, and give the throwing side to the steadier chef. How to split the roles

Level 1-1

Part 1 of 7. Chop and serve raw fish.

  1. BothThree stars for two chefs: 300 points (playing alone it is 240).
  2. BothSashimi only: chop the fish or shrimp, put it on a plate and serve. Nothing needs cooking.

Level 1-2

Part 2 of 7. Your first sushi rolls.

  1. BothThree stars for two chefs: 420 points (playing alone it is 300).
  2. BothSushi is fish, rice and nori. Get the rice cooking first; it is the slow part.

Level 1-3

Part 3 of 7. Sushi and sashimi, now with dirty plates.

  1. BothThree stars for two chefs: 320 points (playing alone it is 160).
  2. BothPlates come back dirty from here on, so someone has to wash them at the sink.
  3. BothA two-chef split that works: the left chef chops, plates, serves and passes rice; the right chef washes, cooks rice and passes cucumber.
  4. BothServe two orders in a row in order (a 2x tip combo) to unlock the hidden level Kevin 1.

Kevin 1

Part 4 of 7. Hidden level: steamed dishes in a kitchen cut in two.

  1. BothThree stars for two chefs: 820 points (playing alone it is 520).
  2. BothUnlocked by a 2x tip combo on 1-3, alone or together.
  3. BothThe kitchen is split into a chopping and mixing half and a cooking and plating half; raw food and dirty plates have to cross between them.
  4. BothSteamed fish: chop the fish, steam it, serve.

Level 1-4

Part 5 of 7. Sushi on conveyor belts.

  1. BothThree stars for two chefs: 400 points (playing alone it is 340).
  2. BothBelts carry the ingredients past you: rice, nori, cucumber and fish for sushi.

Level 1-5

Part 6 of 7. Pasta on two hot-air balloons.

  1. BothThree stars for two chefs: 260 points (playing alone it is 200).
  2. BothPasta: noodles go in the pot; tomatoes are chopped and cooked in the pan, then both go on the plate.
  3. BothThe chopping boards slide up and down, and you can hop between the two balloons in the middle of the level.

Level 1-6

Part 7 of 7. Salad on a balloon, then sushi after it crashes.

  1. BothThree stars for two chefs: 440 points (playing alone it is 340).
  2. BothPartway through, the salad balloon crashes and the kitchen turns into a sushi restaurant; switch dishes when it lands.
