What each player can do here

P1 · Mio
  • Mio's dragon first lets her glide; once grown, it glides long distances and breathes acid that melts metal.
P2 · Zoe
  • Zoe's dragon first lets her latch onto ivy-covered walls; once grown, it rolls into a ball to smash enemies and climbs ivy fast.

Dragon Riders Unite

Part 1 of 10. Clear the guard, symbol, and mill puzzles to reach the rider gate.

  1. ZoeZoe breaks it open by rolling into it as a ball.

The Dragon Slayer

Part 2 of 10. Defeat the Dragon Slayer by hitting the crystal base with Zoe's dragon.

  1. BothKeep fighting until the boss falls, which opens a gate and raises platforms.

Craft Temple

Part 3 of 10. Reach the chasm side story and cross the drawbridge while the Megalith chases.

  1. ZoeHit the gong with Zoe's dragon to boost Mio up.
  2. MioMio sprays acid on the chain that holds up a weight.

Where people tend to fall

  • The Megalith will find you after the drawbridge; keep running.

Dragon Souls

Part 4 of 10. Open the four dragon-soul statues through the egg puzzles.

  1. BothRoll the ball over to the blue door and let it blow up.

Treasure Temple

Part 5 of 10. Open the temple gate, then face the Treasure Traitor's stair attack.

  1. BothMelt the metal serpent statues and break the crystals to open the gate.
  2. BothRoar into the horns to begin the Treasure Traitor encounter.
  3. BothStay together: melt the metal cylinders and break the crystals on the stairs.
  4. BothStep on two buttons to drop into the room downstairs.

Where people tend to fall

  • The Treasure Traitor sends waves of flames along the bridge; jump over them.

Royal Palace

Part 6 of 10. Break the treasure chamber door and the armored hands to reach the gate.

  1. MioMio's dragon spits acid at the statues to make a path.
  2. BothMelt the armor holding the waterwheel, then roll it to smash the door.
  3. MioMelt the gauntlets of the giant hands first to stun them.
  4. ZoeSmash the exposed crystalline arm after the stun.
  5. ZoeCharge into each of the three crystals quickly to open the gate.

Treasure Traitor

Part 7 of 10. Defeat the armored turtle by returning its bombs and breaking its shell.

    Might of Dragons

    Part 8 of 10. Ride the evolved dragons out of the gold pool and into flight.

    1. BothBoth dragons evolve in the gold pool and can now fly.
    2. MioMio's dragon spits acid balls that instantly destroy metal walls.
    3. ZoeZoe's dragon can drill through crystal walls.

    Into the Storm

    Part 9 of 10. Chase the Megalith through the storm and survive the ruin platforming.

    1. BothChase the Megalith through valleys and caves, smashing obstacles on the way.
    2. BothAfter being knocked off your dragons, slide, grapple, and jump down a collapsing ruin.

    Where people tend to fall

    • The Megalith can turn and fire a pink laser at you.

    Megalith's Wrath

    Part 10 of 10. Climb the Megalith's back and destroy its pink crystals to win.

      Boss

      Dragon SlayerArmored crystal knight

      1. Phase 1: One hit from the sword kills you outright.

      Treasure TraitorArmored turtle

      1. Phase 1: Mio melts the armour off the bombs the boss throws.
      2. Phase 1: Zoe must bump the bombs into the boss to deal damage.
      3. Phase 2: The boss spins around the arena and blasts waves of damage.
      4. Stun: Melt its face armour with Mio's acid, then Zoe rolls into it.
      • Hit the bombs from any direction during phase two to damage them.

      MegalithBack and neck

      1. Climb: Climb the tail and clear the crystal spikes with your swords on the way up.
      2. Climb: Mash the attack button while avoiding the parasites.
      3. Pink crystal: Slash the glowing pink crystal and kill the small crystal enemies.
      4. Forehead: Mio and Zoe must stab the final pink crystal at the same moment.
      5. Shake-off: Plant your sword into its skin with the button prompt to cling on.

      Achievements and extras

      • Side story: Birthday Cake (Treasure Temple route). Gummy bear floating to the left of the main path.
