The manor grounds

Part 1 of 2. Learn the sword, stomp and shield on the way into the manor.

  1. BothHack at the roots of the tree until it falls over.
  2. BothJump onto the pumpkin and run on top of it to roll it along.
  3. BothStomp on the raised end of a see-saw to be flung upward; the same trick reaches the chandeliers.
  4. BothHold up the shield in a beam of light and angle it at the webbing or branches to burn them away.
  5. BothStomp the see-saw with the crate on its other end so the crate smashes the ceiling and lets daylight in.
  6. BothBlock the green ooze shots with the shield and bounce them into the roots holding up the bridge so it drops.

The guardian of the manor

Part 2 of 2. Use light to stun the cursed knight three times.

  1. BothThe guardian only takes damage while a beam of light stuns him; every phase is about opening a new beam.

  1. Phase 1: He mixes quick dagger slashes with a longer sword swing. Jump over him to the right-hand ledge; when he follows and breaks it, the wall behind gives way, light pours in and stuns him, so hit his back.
  2. Phase 2: He adds poisonous ooze and a jumping shockwave. Deflect the ooze up into the roots on the ceiling, then stand in the new beam on the left and angle the shield to throw the light at him.
  3. Phase 3: Deflect his ooze into the roots in the upper-right corner so a heavy block drops onto the see-saw, stomp the other end to launch it through the ceiling, then turn the last beam on him and finish him.
  • Guides name him differently: one calls him the Ghoul, others the Cursed Knight.
