What each player can do here

P1 · Gatherer
  • Gatherer: cuts wood and digs iron, carries it all to Storage (the Crafter draws from there on its own) and takes the bucket when the engine is getting dry.
P2 · Track layer
  • Track layer: lifts track off the Crafter and puts it down ahead of the train; between loads, opens the route and keeps an eye out for hazards.

If your skill levels differ: Blueprinted's two-player split gives one player gathering and water and the other track and hazards, and says both drop everything to lay track when the train is about to run out. Water, mushrooms and spiders

Part 1 of 2. A wet biome with two things that kill you.

  1. BothWater is much more common than in the Meadows; stock plenty of wood for bridges.
  2. BothMushrooms have 1 HP and blow up in a 5 metre blast that sets off any mushroom near it; hit one with a tool and walk away calmly.single source
  3. Track layerSpiders leave webs that slow you down and that you can't put items or track on; one hit with any tool breaks a web.
  4. BothA spider only jumps a player who moves in front of it; stand still and it leaves you alone.single source
  5. BothCaught in a cocoon? Struggle: moving frees you in about 3 seconds instead of 15.
  6. GathererFrog milk gives five Torch stacks; with no tool in hand, Torch sets webs alight and the fire spreads along them.

Where people tend to fall

  • A spider that cocoons someone dies doing it, which fails a no-kill task.

Boss: Spider Queen

Part 2 of 2. Stand still at the right moment.

  1. BothWhen she stops and a red mark shows above her, everyone freezes, no chopping either, until the attack has passed.
  2. BothPlayers caught without a tool in hand are wrapped in a cocoon, so keep one in hand when she is about to strike.single source
  3. GathererOr one player runs laps behind the train to draw the attack early, so the others can keep working.

Boss

Spider QueenBayou boss

  1. Search: Crawls along the top of the level, then halts with a red exclamation mark over her head.
  2. Web shot: Webs the ground around anyone who moved after the mark; players without a tool are also wrapped in a cocoon. If nobody moves, she crawls on.
  • If she stops before the mark appears, a tiny step sets it off so you can get the attack over with.
  • A Torch cartridge helps if teammates keep getting webbed.
