What each player can do here

P1 · Gatherer
  • Gatherer: holds the axe or the pickaxe, carries wood and iron to the Storage wagon, and grabs the bucket when the engine runs hot.
P2 · Track layer
  • Track layer: takes finished track off the Crafter, lays it ahead of the train, clears the path when no track is ready and deals with the creatures.

If your skill levels differ: The wiki and Blueprinted both say only one player should lay track, and a lower difficulty means more resources and less unbreakable rock. Our suggestionWhen skill levels differ: give track laying to the steadier player, and let the newer player own one tool and keep resources coming. How to split the roles

Oxygen and flying

Part 1 of 2. Water becomes air.

  1. BothThere is no water. The Tank wagon and the bucket each make an oxygen bubble.
  2. BothIf your oxygen runs out you die and respawn.
  3. BothJetpacks let you fly between islands, so bridges only need to carry the train, and they are stone.
  4. BothSpace has no night, which leaves the Light wagon with nothing to light.

Meteors and scarce resources

Part 2 of 2. The space hazards.

  1. GathererMeteors crash down now and then and wreck terrain and track outside an air bubble; hold the bucket up to block one.
  2. Track layerSound is muffled, including the crash warning, so watch the train's position and speed.
  3. BothResources are scarce; mine everything you pass and build as tightly as you can.
