What each player can do here

P1 · Cuphead
  • Plane fight: shoot, drop bombs, and shrink into the mini plane to dodge.
  • IGN suggests the Coffee charm here.
P2 · Mugman
  • Mugman can join or leave at any time. If one of you goes down, the other brings them back by parrying their heart while it is still on screen.

If your skill levels differ: Cuphead and Mugman play the same way, so split by job rather than by character. A fallen player only comes back if the partner parries their heart, so the steadier player should play it safe; a newer player can take the Smoke Bomb charm, which makes you invincible while dodging. The fight

Part 1 of 1. Beat the boss phase by phase.

  1. BothWatch both directions for the eggs that split, and parry the pink nail bird at the end of each train of birds.
  2. BothFeathers: slide through the gaps in one row and keep shooting.
  3. BothBaby bird: shrink to escape tight spots and keep circling as the ring of spiky eggs closes in.
  4. BothStretcher: drop bombs from above, parry the pink garbage and shoot the heart, shrinking when the heart attack fills the screen.

Boss

Wally WarblesThe boss of this fight

  1. Wally: Spits eggs that split, sends flocks of birds and fires finger missiles.
  2. Feathers: Fires walls of feathers with gaps in them.
  3. Baby bird: His child takes over with spiky eggs and a small ray gun.
  4. Stretcher: Carried on a stretcher, he throws pills and garbage and launches his heart.
