What each player can do here

P1 · Cuphead
  • IGN's suggested loadout: Spread and Chaser with the Smoke Bomb charm.
P2 · Mugman
  • Mugman can join or leave at any time. If one of you goes down, the other brings them back by parrying their heart while it is still on screen.

If your skill levels differ: Cuphead and Mugman play the same way, so split by job rather than by character. A fallen player only comes back if the partner parries their heart, so the steadier player should play it safe; a newer player can take the Smoke Bomb charm, which makes you invincible while dodging. The fight

Part 1 of 1. Beat the boss phase by phase.

  1. BothBumper car: jump his charges and parry the pink ducks.
  2. BothBalloon head: shoot his head, parry the pink balloon dogs, and get over the roller coaster when it races through.
  3. BothMechanical horse: stay near the edges of the screen and dodge the horseshoes.
  4. BothCarousel: watch for the baseballs the penguins throw while you keep shooting.

Boss

  1. Bumper car: Drives at you in a bumper car with ducks floating above.
  2. Balloon head: Floats as a balloon head and sends out balloon dogs and a roller coaster.
  3. Mechanical horse: Drops in on a mechanical horse that throws horseshoes.
  4. Carousel: Ends as a giant carousel with penguins throwing baseballs.
  • IGN: parry the coaster's nose and hold RB to stay put during the balloon phase; use the Chaser on the merry-go-round.
