What each player can do here

P1 · Cuphead
  • IGN's suggested loadout: Spread and Peashooter with the Smoke Bomb charm.
P2 · Mugman
  • Mugman can join or leave at any time. If one of you goes down, the other brings them back by parrying their heart while it is still on screen.

If your skill levels differ: Cuphead and Mugman play the same way, so split by job rather than by character. A fallen player only comes back if the partner parries their heart, so the steadier player should play it safe; a newer player can take the Smoke Bomb charm, which makes you invincible while dodging. The fight

Part 1 of 1. Beat them phase by phase.

  1. BothShoot the fireflies first, then jump, duck or parry the fireballs from the spinning fists.
  2. BothAgainst the big fan, clear the bouncing balls before you push toward the tall frog.
  3. BothSlot machine: parry the lever; the three icons decide the next attack: fast green platforms, fire platforms or bouncing marbles.

Boss

Ribby and CroaksThe boss of this fight

  1. Fists and fireflies: The small frog fires fireballs from spinning fists while the tall one spits fireflies.
  2. Fan: The tall frog blows you toward his brother, who throws balls that bounce high and low.
  3. Slot machine: They merge into a slot machine whose spin picks frog, bull or tiger attacks.
  • The two frogs share one health bar in the first two phases, so it does not matter which one you hit.

Achievements and extras

  • Winning here opens Mausoleum I: parry the ghosts before they reach the urn to earn the Energy Beam super.
