What each player can do here

P1 · Luigi
  • Luigi holds the Poltergust G-00 and the flashlight: stun ghosts with the Strobulb, then vacuum and slam them. The run only ends if Luigi runs out of health.
  • In the boss room Luigi cannot get in, so the Luigi player waits outside.
P2 · Gooigi
  • Gooigi walks over spikes and slips through bars and tight spaces that stop Luigi. Water and fire empty his health at once and send him back to Luigi.
  • Gooigi fights this floor's boss alone.

If your skill levels differ: This boss is fought by Gooigi alone and cannot be lost, since a hit just sends Gooigi back. The newer player can take it. How to split the roles

The mall cop

Part 1 of 1. Corner the security ghost in the Lost and Found.

  1. GooigiSend Gooigi through the bars after him; Luigi cannot follow.
  2. GooigiHis sunglasses block the flash: vacuum them off first, then stun him and drain him.

Where people tend to fall

  • His squirt gun melts Gooigi in one hit; move between shots. Each time he gets away he finds something new to cover his eyes.

Boss

KrullerThe security guard ghost

  1. The fight: Pull off the eye cover, flash, vacuum; repeat while dodging the water. Winning gives the Mezzanine button.

Achievements and extras

  • Six gems are hidden on this floor, and a Boo turns up here once you have the floor's elevator button and come back later.
