What each player can do here

P1 · Leader
  • The camera follows whoever is making progress at the front; give that seat to the player who knows the stage.
P2 · Partner
  • A partner who falls off the screen can warp back to the leader, so lagging behind costs nothing.

If your skill levels differ: Let the stronger player lead. The newer player can drop in and out at any time and warps back to the front when left behind. How to split the roles

Act 1: the gorilla robot

Part 1 of 2. Survive the presses and hit its head.

  1. BothWatch which presses start moving or letting off steam and get out from under them.
  2. BothWhen it charges itself with electricity it jumps around the arena; keep away, then jump on its head when it stops.

Where people tend to fall

  • TheGamer: a press kills on contact however many rings you hold.

Act 2: Eggman

Part 2 of 2. Get behind the press machine.

  1. BothWhen his legs shake before the big slam, dash under him to the other side and hit him from behind.
  2. BothJump between the electric balls he fires.

Boss

Gorilla robotThe Act 1 boss

  1. Presses: Brings hydraulic presses down from above.
  2. Electric leaps: Jumps around the arena charged with electricity.
  • CBR: only three hits needed.

Dr. Eggman (Press Factory)The Act 2 boss

  1. Press slams: Slams a giant press while walking toward you.
  2. Electric balls: Fires electric balls at you.
  • Sonic Retro and CBR both count six hits.
