What each player can do here

P1 · Luigi
  • Luigi holds the Poltergust G-00 and the flashlight: stun ghosts with the Strobulb, then vacuum and slam them. The run only ends if Luigi runs out of health.
P2 · Gooigi
  • Gooigi walks over spikes and slips through bars and tight spaces that stop Luigi. Water and fire empty his health at once and send him back to Luigi.

If your skill levels differ: Losing health is never game over for Gooigi; the run only ends when Luigi runs out. So the newer player usually takes Gooigi and the steadier player takes Luigi. How to split the roles

The maze

Part 1 of 2. Find a way through the shifting rooms.

  1. BothThe rooms are a maze of doors; work through them to the magicians' stage.
  2. BothIn the bedroom where the key turns into a golden rabbit, one of you holds the rabbit in the vacuum while the other uses the Dark-Light to change it back into a key.

The magicians

Part 2 of 2. Beat the three magician sisters on their stage.

  1. BothThey hide in spinning hats and throw cards. When the hats close in, Burst to flip them over, then pull a sister out by her trailing scarf or braid and flash her.
  2. BothEach time one is caught, a bomb takes her place under a hat; keep your eyes on the hats that still hold a ghost.

Where people tend to fall

  • In the last round the lights go out for a moment; follow the hats with the flashlight so you do not lose the last one.

Boss

Nikki, Lindsey & GinnyThe magician trio

  1. Hats: Burst the hats over, pull a sister out, flash and vacuum; avoid the hat with the bomb.

Achievements and extras

  • Six gems are hidden on this floor, and a Boo turns up here once you have the floor's elevator button and come back later.
