What each player can do here

P1 · Leader
  • The camera follows whoever is making progress at the front; give that seat to the player who knows the stage.
P2 · Partner
  • A partner who falls off the screen can warp back to the leader, so lagging behind costs nothing.

If your skill levels differ: Let the stronger player lead. The newer player can drop in and out at any time and warps back to the front when left behind. How to split the roles

The zone

Part 1 of 2. Reach the only boss of the zone.

  1. BothThere is one boss in Sky Temple, waiting at the very end of the zone.

Boss: Eggman

Part 2 of 2. Beat Eggman in mid-air.

  1. BothWhile you fall, just dodge the spinning blades he fires.
  2. BothOnce you land, climb the floating platforms until he is in reach, then jump up and hit him.
  3. BothNear the end he targets a platform and slams into it: jump to another one, then land on him.

Where people tend to fall

  • Watch the spinning fan under the platforms while you climb.

  1. Free fall: Spinning blades while everyone falls.
  2. Climb: Platforms to climb toward him over a fan.
  3. Platform slam: Locks onto a platform and crashes into it.
