PS5 couch co-op and local multiplayer games

61 games. Rule: Every game in our database whose PlayStation Store page lists the PS5 and two or more players.

PlayStation's listings print a player count ("1 - 4 players") and, separately, how many can play online and whether that needs PS Plus. It does not say whether the offline players cooperate or compete, so this list answers the narrower sofa question: can a second controller join on the same PS5?

PlayStation's support pages say a PS5 takes up to four controllers at once, which is why four is the ceiling for nearly every game here.

In this list: 31 of these 61 list four or more players on one PS5, led by The Jackbox Party Pack 9, Bluey: The Videogame and Contra: Operation Galuga. For online play the store marks 49 of them as needing PS Plus. On 10 games the Xbox or Switch listing gives a different same-console number, and each game page shows where.
