LEGO Voyagers Couch Co-op: Two Players, One Screen, No Solo

LEGO Voyagers couch co-op puts 2 players on the same screen, and only 2: Nintendo lists Single system (2), with no solo mode. Online needs one copy.

TL;DR: Nintendo lists Single system (2) and Online (1-2). The store text says "Play locally on the same screen, or online." GameSpot: "there’s no solo mode, nor can you pair up with a bot partner." One copy covers two online with the Friend's Pass. $24.99 on every console store. Checked Oct 24, 2026.

You need exactly two people. LEGO Voyagers couch co-op puts both players on the same screen with no solo mode at all, so the decision is simply who your second player is: the person on the sofa, or a friend online with a free pass.

As of Oct 24, 2026: Xbox, Nintendo and PlayStation pages re-read that day; Steam fields from our Oct 18 store data. The LEGO Voyagers game page shows the latest check.

Key Takeaways

  • Two on one screen. The store text says "on the same screen".
  • No solo. Nintendo lists Single system (2), not (1-2).
  • One copy online. The Friend's Pass covers the second player.
  • Short. GameSpot puts it at about four hours.
  • Same price everywhere. $24.99 on Xbox, Switch 2 and PlayStation.

LEGO Voyagers couch co-op? (quick answer)

Yes, for two. LEGO Voyagers is built around a pair. Annapurna's own page calls it "a new 2-player co-op adventure about friendship and play", and the store text adds: "Play locally on the same screen, or online."

Four store rows for LEGO Voyagers: Xbox local co-op 2-2 with the Shared/split screen label, Steam with the label, Nintendo Single system 2 with same-screen text, PlayStation 1-2 players Chart: CouchCoopDesk, data from the Xbox, Steam, Nintendo and PlayStation stores, checked Oct 24.

The publisher's words settle the screen question: one shared picture, not two halves. Xbox and Steam print the Shared/split screen label, which covers both. Our split screen vs shared screen explainer covers the difference.

Overview

Light Brick Studio made it and Annapurna Interactive publishes it, per Nintendo and the Xbox catalog. It came out on September 15, 2025.

The Xbox store has two entries. The paid one, at $24.99, carries no co-op fields. The entry Annapurna's site links to lists local co-op 2-2, online co-op 2-2 and the Shared/split screen label, with no price.

Desk note: 191 Nintendo listings in our database give a Single system count. Only 8 start at two, and LEGO Voyagers is one; It Takes Two and Split Fiction are two more. For a game you want to try alone first, this is the wrong shelf.

Bar chart of 191 Nintendo listings in our database: 182 list Single system from one player, 8 start at two with no solo Chart: CouchCoopDesk, data from the Nintendo store, checked Oct 18.

Analysis

No partner, no game. GameSpot's review states it plainly: "Lego Voyagers is a two-player co-op game, so there’s no solo mode, nor can you pair up with a bot partner." Nintendo's Single system (2) says the same thing in a store field.

GODEEPER: Two-player picks for a parent and child, with each store's rating. Co-op games to play with kids

Online, one copy is enough. The store text says: "Invite a friend to join your adventure for free with the Friend’s Pass. As long as one of you owns LEGO Voyagers, you can both play the full co-op experience together."

It is short. GameSpot says "the game takes only about four hours to go through." Its reviewer played with each of their two children at different times. Nintendo and PlayStation both list an E rating, so it fits a family evening.

What players say

Reddit threads point the same way in their titles. One in r/Trophies is titled "[Lego voyagers] A good couch co-op new game". Another, in r/legogaming, asks "LEGO Voyagers - One Player Two Controllers Possible?", a sign that solo players go looking for a way in.

Our take

Pick LEGO Voyagers for two people on one screen; skip it if you play alone. Nintendo lists Single system (2), and GameSpot confirms there is no solo mode. One copy covers two online.

For a game a child can also play solo, see our kids co-op list. We will re-check the Xbox listings if Microsoft merges the two entries.

What we don't know yet

Why the Xbox store keeps two entries for the game, one with co-op fields and one without. We quote the one Annapurna links to. We also could not read a current Steam page from our network.

How we checked this

We re-read both Xbox catalog entries, the Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 listings and the PlayStation Store page on Oct 24, along with Annapurna's page and GameSpot's review. Steam fields come from our importer's Oct 18 read. Reddit lines are thread titles from search results. We did not play LEGO Voyagers for this article.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is LEGO Voyagers couch co-op? Yes, for two. Nintendo lists Single system (2) on Switch and Switch 2, the PlayStation Store lists 1 - 2 players, and the store text says you can play locally on the same screen, or online. The Xbox listing Annapurna links to shows local co-op 2-2 and the Shared/split screen label.

Can you play LEGO Voyagers solo? No. GameSpot's review says it is a two-player co-op game with no solo mode, and you cannot pair up with a bot partner. Nintendo's listing agrees in its own way: Single system (2), not (1-2). You need a second person, on the sofa or online.

Is LEGO Voyagers split screen? The store text says you play locally on the same screen. Xbox prints its Shared/split screen label and our Steam data carries the same label, which covers both split and shared screens. So two players share one picture on one TV, per the publisher's own words.

Does LEGO Voyagers have a Friend's Pass? Yes. The store text says you can invite a friend to join for free with the Friend's Pass, and as long as one of you owns LEGO Voyagers, you can both play the full co-op experience. That applies to online play with a friend on another console.

How long is LEGO Voyagers? About four hours, per GameSpot's review, which says the game takes only about four hours to go through. That makes it a short evening or two for a pair. No store lists a play time, so this is the reviewer's estimate, not a store field.

How much is LEGO Voyagers? $24.99 regular price on the Xbox store, Nintendo's Switch 2 listing and the PlayStation Store, checked Oct 24. Our Steam data from Oct 18 also shows $24.99.
